I have used MNM Associates to great success for filling several senior developer roles and a database administrator role. In hiring people, I place equal importance on personality as technical ability. I’m looking for people who will integrate with a team vision not just provide a technical ability. Having a background in the States, I am used to recruiters being a professional service capable of fully vetting candidates not only technically but also with regards to personality factors specific to a particular environment.

I expect a high level of service not just a CV forwarding function. The team at MNM took the time to understand my needs and the cultural context of the roles I was filling. More importantly, they are as equally engaged on the other side of the equation – with the candidates. They build long-term relationships with candidates in the quest of quality. This shows in the candidates submitted for interview. They were always of the correct technical ability but also further refined to fit a particular profile needed by the team/company environment.

Case Study 2: ECOMMERCE SOFTWARE HOUSE

meeting2As an extremely fast paced and dynamic organisation, we are very particular about the type of individuals we bring into our IT department, especially into our Development Team. Our normal recruitment procedure, prior to engaging the services of MNM Associates Ltd, was a very long and drawn out process which would consist of an extremely high number of CVs being sent to me resulting in hours of my time being taken up interviewing, only to find we were nowhere near identifying the right person for the role available. We insist that any new member of our IT Team(s) fully understands the implications of working within a project driven fast moving environment and are able to work effectively and as part of a strong team so technical ability is only one part of our recruitment criteria. The individual and their work ethos/mentality is just as important as technical skills. The amount of time that I personally invested into recruitment was far higher than ever anticipated and we were being supplied with candidates who looked good on paper but after 5minutes into the interview, it was apparent that these people just were not right for the nature of our business and 99% of the interviews were cut short resulting in a waste of mine and the candidate's time.

MNM Associates took the time to really get to know what I was looking for, they invested a lot of effort (which no other recruitment business were prepared to do) to get to know what I was like to work for, what my expectations were of anyone I hired and to really understand how to successfully recruit for our business, they offered to physically attend an interview of one of their candidates in order to see what went on behind the scenes and how we select the right people for our business. MNM Associates came away with the real understanding of the “passion and drive” I demand in the people I recruit.

MNM Associates then went on to consistently provide a much better calibre of individual who matched all of our criteria and were perfectly qualified for the roles available and the environment and finally we were being provided with not only top quality people, but a choice of people which we had not had the luxury of previously.

The time which MNM spent initially getting to grips with our requirements and criteria, resulted in us arranging 3 interviews for 3 positions, 3 offers and 3 accepts being made all within less than 1 week of having the roles formally signed off.

MNM Associates have turned our recruitment process into one, which is efficient and successful every time we need to hire a new person into our IT Team.

After experiencing should a superb service, I have no need or desire to put my business anywhere else.
